I'M TOO LAZY TO KEEP A THREAD TRACKER NOW so just use this

This is basically a collection of uncommonly known Ryslig related information Crow has on hand, as well as a list of people who have information on various Ryslig related topics. Basically, if Crow doesn't know what your character wants to know about Ryslig, he probably knows someone who does.

For those who don't know, ryslig has a mechanic where characters who die start losing memories related to their original canon starting. It is mandatory to start losing memories after their 2nd death. After a maximum of 20 in game deaths, characters will think they have always been living in Ryslig and do not remember that they are originally from a different world. This is referred to as "Going Native" OOCly. Crow did not lose memories until after the first 2 deaths.

However, "Going Native" does not include the insertion of new Ryslig memories to replace the lost ones.

Instead, Crow will be receiving new memories as a result of a Mana Rewards backfire alongside Yusei, basically resulting in Crow having an AU background of having been born in Ryslig as a monster. This AU background will closely mirror his canon background, adjusted for Ryslig's setting. Not all the details will match up with Yusei's and some details will be blatantly incorrect when compared to his canon background. This is intentional.

For potential canonmates, please note that I've left details regarding them vague so we can discuss things!

Memories Lost From Death

• loses memories of the WRGP Duels
  
• loses memory of souls being released from the Earthbound Gods, meaning Crow thinks his kids and Martha are dead. He doesn't remember his kids and Martha during WRGP arc.
  
• loses memory of living in NDC (everything post DS arc, but he remembers individual people met in that arc, i.e. Bruno, Sherry, Jeager and his family, Zora & Leo)
  
• loses memory of everything in the Dark Signer arc after standing on the bridge, including WRGP characters (Crow thinks he jumped from the bridge)
  
• loses memories of exactly what Satellite was like, aside from 'a dump'
  
• loses memories of what martha and the kids look like, and what he looked like as a human
  
• loses memory of ever being from somewhere besides Ryslig

(ROUGH) Outline of Crow's "Ryslig AU" background

- was originally a harpy, parents dead (if questioned, he'd say they were presumably killed, bc back then monsters were super rare. reason they were called monsters is bc they look like the monsters out of storybooks, but before the Fog God moved in, they weren't that much different from humans in physical strength etc. so the hunger and the not dying is the Fog God's fault. Not enough native monsters probably, which is why she's taking u guys).

- basically was taken care of by a flock of crows (how he got his name) in the outskirts of Bavan (where it was safer)

- when the flock of crows moved on (he doesn't know why), crow decided not to join them, felt he was big and old enough to venture into Bavan on his own

- met yusei and jack, fellow monsters who he befriended and learnt to read from

- he met martha

- team sat/pearson/jack flouncing will probably remain largely the same, but up for discussion with potential castmates

- p.s. bolger is dead (after crow learned the truth), his motorcycle company failed without him as head

- Crow raising kids, some of them monster kids. one wanted to be police so he worked his ass off to join. but when martha and all the kids were killed he flew into a rage, quit his job and killed all the humans who did it.

- tried to jump from a bridge in vandare and drown himself afer that but he came back as a mer bc fuckin' goooooodddddddds o9
