If he really has half of it, and she can't get it back, or influence him at all, it's not really hers anymore is it.

She, like Tikbalang, can temporarily change our species. I have enough coins, I think, to become something else for a while. If it's vampires you have issues with, I'm sure I can find something else to be for a while.

If it helps you feel better, it also lets me enjoy the summer for a while. It's trying to know that it's beautiful weather and I can't go out so long as there's sunshine.

I have nothing else to do with these coins anyway. Why should anyone have to move out at all?

If it doesn't work we'll have to think of something else though.

Might as well make the most of it! Especially if you know a lot of good places. I'll have a month, two at the most, to pack in as many underwater adventures as I can get.

I still think it would have been a good idea to move the healthy humans out of Kulen and burn the place to the ground to prevent spreading infection. I don't think those bugs are ever going to be our allies.

We're just tools even to them. Useful incubators.
