"Pull the magazine out from the bottom, it'll come easy. Check inside for a bullet. There shouldn't be one. Then grab the top of the gun and pull it back, it'll go easily, check that chamber for a bullet too. Not really necessary when you're intending to do harm but when you're not, it's just proper manners."
