there was a town a while ago that tried to hide from the peninsula's gods
didn't work out
their guardians ate them and far as i can tell the rest of ryslig's forgotten them since

it was during that christmas party
the one w/ the masks
it got attacked yea?

i had a brief chat w/ him at the ballroom
thought it was a bt strange 4 a human 2 attend a monster heavy party
said he was dragged there by a friend
seemed uneasy bout being there
tho wat human wouldnt b careful about swimming w/ the sharks rite?

[Honestly, Crow had thought a lot of the 'humans' that weren't on the waitstaff had been newly turned monsters. Even though he works at a human run business, Crow's had a lot of less than pleasant dealing with humans even though he tries to make connections with the locals.

It's probably the mask, he reckons.]
